Saturday club is the most rubbish club ever. There is very little to do and the workers just sit about doing nothing.The club lacks structure and the workers dont have a clue about disabled people.Any parties they do are boring and the games are not suitable for disabled.
i am a person who goes to saturday club whenever i can and i have to say that i dissagree with this person completely, i feel that its good for all of us and the parties and sleepovers are superb and it is alot of fun. I would also like to state that the carers do understand us and yes they do shout at us, but only when they really need to because we are normal people and we want to get treated like normal people even if it does mean that we get shouted at if we are rude or do something bad.I used to be really bored, but ever since i came here my life has changed for the better and has bec ome alot more exciting. I go to saturday club and it is great here, I feel disgusted that someone could write this about the club.
we make our own food, games are fun and help the workers plan the programme and am looking forward to the next sleep over at the end of march.
it has helped me with my confidence and i have made new friends, Dan aged 13
I go to sat club 2 and it is not boring, all kids are special and we are made to feel special we do lots of games, trampolining, cooking but we choose what we want to do by talking to the workers
the workers respect me and treat me good and do good sleepovers.
